I had envisioned this episode in my mind once or twice and always thought they were going to go for a homage to the traditional local rivalry: the argentinian Ford vs Dodge vs Chevy (Falcon, GTX and Nova) and maybe throw an IKA-Renault Torino in the mix via The Stig.
